Shudder is a premium streaming subscription service from AMC Networks that offers fans of the dark and haunted the largest human-curated selection of high-quality, spine-tingling, and provocative films, TV series, and originals.
After seeing positive responses in influencer marketing from in-house efforts Shudder was referred to Veritone One to hone and expand its influencer campaigns. Since 2018 we’ve been working with YouTube and Instagram influencers and podcast hosts to drive Shudder trial subscriptions from one horror enthusiast to hoards of others. Initial tests across shows in the terror, true crime, and paranormal genres were a hair-raising success.
Over the last two years, we’ve seen strong results across all three channels and have expanded to broader genres and topics. Most recently we’ve seen solid returns from video game, cinema and comedy channels. As one positive test leads to another, Shudder continues to incrementally expand and is on pace to increase both trials and spend by 100 percent this year over last.
